Remote Learning Advice From a College Sophomore
Some advice from a college sophomore who spent last semester on campus, doing partial remote learning from her dorm room and partial in-person classes:
- Try to develop a mindset through reason that this is a temporary situation and life will not be this way for a lot longer.
- Go for a hike with a friend or two outside, 6 ft. apart, and/or with masks on. The trees, woods, leaves, earth, and water really help clear the mind.
- Talk to a friend on the phone, or face time.
- Watch a movie together with a friend on the phone or call each other after agreeing to watch the same movie and talk about your favorite parts.
- Work on your Spotify playlist.
- Find some arts or crafts that interest you and do them.
